How do you greet others in your country?

Hi, in Italy between friend and family we usually greetings with one kiss on each cheek and in the same time handshake... if you want see something about the greetings of italian tradition you can see the movie "the grandfather" speak about Mafia... the physical contact in the Italian greetings is very common... we usually greetings also with a hug. When we meet other people, we usually greetings with an handshake but sometimes also the kiss.

In Croatia is the same like Sonia wrote about Italia except hug (that we do sometimes with members of family). Depends about your relation with that person. It can be kiss or just handshake.

In Sri lanka we say "Aayubowan" . The English meaning is "may you live long and healthy"
