Is it too hard to get "good" job if the applicants have no skill in English?

English is the most widely spoken language in the world. With English, the people who have different languages can do communication.

 

English has big influence to passed us in the job application. How's in your country, Is it too hard to get "good" job if the applicants have no skill in English?

It depends on the country. If it's hardline traditional, such countries like: Japan, Iran, Saudi, English is not so much a necessity. Should you go to former English/ American colonies, you must ready yourself with an effective english speaking ability.

Yes Masahiro, i see. My instructors in college (especially in subject: Citizenship), always told us that he is proud with Japanese. They are so value their own language.

In my country , French is a must-know if you want a good job. English is not yet that much of a necessity , but it would be a good addition in your Curriculum Vitae if you master it...

in my country, japan, you don't have to speak english to get a good job.

but you need to speak japanese.

you may not need english if the domestic consumption in indonesia is big. 

or maybe japan is out of the gloval village...

Yeah, same here Mal :) In the short, we are in the challenge of globalization right now. So, we have to increase our quality if we don't wanna be left behind.
