Everyone makes mistakes and if parents punish their child because of their mistakes, then the child will never learn the logical reason of making that mistake. The worse punishment is to physically/verbally punishing the child because the child will live in fear of trying new things and will have less confidence about themselves since they are always condemned whenever tehy did something wrong.

The best way for a child to learn is to let them learn from their mistakes and let them think about the consequences.

It is so bad ,try to speak with your child!

if we explain to them ,finally they never do it again!

no. there is another way to make them understand than punishment. Adult person has to guide and motivate them. make them focus on good thing not a bad one. if we punish them they will only focus in the bad thing. there will be many rules, prohibitions in their mind, so that maybe they will be hard to find a new thing, a new posibility.

 

I think it usually depends on the severity of the problem, and the severity of the punishment.
