Which resources do you usually use while learning Japanese? What do you use while learning Japanese?

I took Japanese from Freshman to Senior year in my Highschool. Whenever it was time to watch a video, the teacher would put on Erin. Erin is pretty wonderful. The show is in Japanese, it would have a grammar topic, and at the end it'd show you how Japanese is being used somewhere in the world. Along with some aspect of Japanese culture.

There's a free website for it. With exercises, the videos are in Japanese with English, romaji, hiragana, and hiragana+kanji subtitles. I forgot if the kanji had furigana on it or not. You'd just select which ones you want to see during the video.

You do have to make an account, but I highly recommend it to anyone learning Japanese.

Have fun!

I like Rikaichan, but it only works with Mozilla Firefox. I heard there is a version for Chrome called Rikaikun, but I've never used it.

I use Italki for practicing speaking, Anki for kanji and vocabulary memorization, memrise for the same thing as Anki, japanesepod101 has good free beginner grammar points, Genki textbook is always good for beginner/lower intermediate and then after that I think Tobira is fantastic for higher level learning.
