English podcast

I am not sure wether this topic was on the forum, if it did, I am sorry for repeating it.

I thought we could make here a kind of data base of podcast you use to learn English.

I am going to share with you free sources/sites I find useful. If you have something to add- feel free to post it below, I will check it out and we can also help other English learners ;)

As I think it isn't allowed to post links here, I give only names of the pages you can find them:

1. Luke English Podcast on Audioboo (my favourite one! BrE)

2. Spotlight Radio (great source for low-intermediate students, it is quite slowly spoken)

3. ESL pod (AmE)

4. University of Oxford podcasts

5. TED (videos)

6. The British History Podcasts

7. ESL bits

8. Lit2Go- is an online library with pdf files and read content.

Please share your stuff with us!

Thank you very much Ania.

I listened to Luke English Podcast on Audioboo: it is amazing.

I tried Spotlight Radio too, It is comfortable to listen to it when you cannot concentrate too much but you want to practice English.

Not that long time ago I found myself very frustrated about my English level.I went to vacation to Sedney and it was quite difficult for me to communicate with receptionist in one of hotels I stayed in.Back than I started searching web for some great course which will give me opportunity to improve my language skills. After long hours or days on wab I run into this cool webapge http://www.bellsenglishonline.com/. and from there I started learning proper English.I recommend it to anyone beginners or Intermidate levels.

I love Luke's podcasts, too. He've recently made one with girls from All Ears English, they have a lot of podcasts to download on their page. Great tool for American accent fans.
