Hi all, I'm a professional English teacher in italki. In my free time, I run a website called MyHappyThanks: a place for happiness and gratitude. The principle of this movement is to become aware of the things that you are grateful for in your life. This allows your mind to focus on positive solutions to problems you might have.
I'd love to hear from you:
What are you grateful for?
(If you don't know what gratitude is, or why it's important, you can check out the website at www.myhappythanks.com)
I'm grateful for many things but for being a human being, simply.
I'm grateful for the family I was born in, for all the people that I got to know in my life, both the ones that helped me and supported me and the ones that hurt me, because they had a key role in making me become who I am today. I'm grateful for being born in a peaceful country, where I can apply and develop my capabilities and do what I feel like doing. I'm grateful for being part of mankind, even though sometimes I cannot fully understand why the hell we behave the way we do. I'm grateful for the world we're living on, because I think it's damn awesome, and finally I'm grateful for life, the greatest gift ever, which is a b*tch when it comes to teaching people lessons, but it's also the one and only reason why I can do all the things listed above and I can BE. So, I guess I love it.
