C2 in Spanish... (other people)

I only know three or four people on here (with C2 in Spanish) and lots of people have C2 in English.

(And I haven't saw anyone with C2 in Russian).

What's the reason behind this? (apart from English is the more international language).

Thanks.

Most people started to learn English early.

Odio mi lengua materna, Bianca. Entiendo lo que quieres decir. Que tengas un buen día. Saludos.

Hello :)) I think it's just pure chance. Here on italki there are few people and the majority are interested in learning English because without it is hard to have a job for example. Other languages like Russian or Spanish are less important to ''survive'' the day-to-day. And, to me, Russian is quite difficult when it comes to letters or pronunciation. Where I live is almost necessary to have a B1 or B2 in English because without it, it's hard to get a acceptable degree. World is changing and with it priorities. And people are varied. But you know, the more the better.

Have a good day :))
