You: Nzuri sana. (Very good).
Waiter: Umeamkaje? (How has the morning found you?)
You: Vizuri sana, ahsante. (Very well, thank you).

You: Ningependa ndizi moja, kipande cha nanasi freshi, kiazi kitamu cha wastani, na yai moja la kukaanga. (I'd like to take one banana, a piece of fresh pineapple, a medium sized sweet potato, and a fried egg.
Waiter: Ungependa kinywaji kilo unapongoja agizo lako? What drink would you like to be taking as you wait?
You: Nipe kahawa nyeupe. (Bring me white coffee).
