A GREAT RESOURCE FOR LEARNING HEBREW
I just found this site:
http://www.teachmehebrew.com/about.html
It has lessons for beginners, songs with the Hebrew, the transliteration, and the translation, and a Hebrew frequency list.
As they say, the frequency list is based on written Hebrew, not spoken, which soon becomes obvious, as "beseder" comes in at around 2000 words, "balagan" doesn't appear at all, and neither does "savlanut", all of which you will hear in your first three minutes in Israel. But still I'm excited as this is the first time I've found a Hebrew frequency list of any sort.
