I've been teaching English for a while and I have noticed different students want different things from a teacher. I was just wondering what you all look for in an English teacher?

The main thing I always look for in a teacher is passion.
If you are passionate about what you do, it will pass on to the student.
Other than that, what I look for in a teacher is Fun. It's as simple as that, if the lesson is fun I pay more attention. I do agree with Camilo that it's very useful if a teacher correct me when I make mistakes.
I like teachers that are demanding with me, teachers who correct my pronunciation and teach me expressions to express my thoughts in English that sounds more natural.
Customerization to your students might be the most important for a good teacher to my knowledge. You have to check what kind of students they are, what old your students are and what attitude they hold . Following that, you can make your teaching strategy to your students.
I think that a teacher with one can learn with practice, not just givin examples and excersing, the best is the integration and application of the habilities, thats is what i looking for in a teacher, a person who help me to applicated the information.
