Does anyone know the difference between Canada and USA? What do you think of Canada? What do you want to know?

Many people think that canadians and americans are the same and sometimes it's hard to tell us apart. What do you know about Canada? Do you know any Stereotypes? What do you want to know?

Hahaha ya!

Well i'll clear somethings up

We have provinces in Canada and yes most of us live near the US& Canadian Border haha

We don't need a visa just our passport but we do get favored in US airports and borders because Canada and USA have similar rules and we're best friends

FRENCH is spoken in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland

We are seen to be more polite than Americans

Stereotypes- The older generation does say EH a lot so thats where they get that stereotype from.

Canada is a country that is full of immigrants, everyone in canada is from a different country or ethinic background is not canadian but mostly European.

We love hockey, beer, Poutine(look it up) Tim Hortons, Skiing/Snowboarding

Our stars: Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling, Jim Carrey, Michael Buble,Russel Peters, Sidney Crosby,

Canadian english vs american english: We ony have a few words and some spelling differences. All canadians and americans can understand each other 100% minus a few words and maybe an accent haha

Canadians and Americans are the same, only a border separate them.

By the way, everybody is the same, the place where you have been born can't determine who you are.

1. Canada has English-speaking states and French-speaking states. They share different laws and rules. In america, people speak English.

2. Canada is country with a masssive territory yet the population are mostly located in the southern part which bordes with America because of the good climate. Northern part is covered by snow and frozen soil and pine tree forests. But in America, the population is spread throughout the whole country and there are different climates.

3. In English language, there are different pronunciations in American english and Canadian english.

Those are what I know about Canada.

My sterotypes about Canada are maple trees everywhere and people always wearing heavy coats and scarfs walking on snow.

I want to know what is the relationship between Canada and America? Can you travel freely without a visa? Why many Canadian stars have their careers in Hollywood or America? What do you think of immigrants or Chinese immigrants since I am a Chinese. And what is your impression of them?

Thank you.

Hello.  I have lived in the United States all of my life.  The only time that I have ever left is when I went to Canada.  I am going to give my opinion of the difference between Canada and the USA.

Everyone in Canada speaks English, except those who speak French.

Everyone in the United States speak English, except those who speak Spanish.

In Canada everyone loves Hockey.   In the USA everyone loves football.

In Canada, people eat thin round pieces of smoked ham and call it bacon.

In the USA, people eat bacon and call it bacon.

In Canada, people mind their own business and are not very friendly.

In Canada you do not have to pay to go to the doctor.  In America you have to pay to go to the doctor, but you can pay the doctor with a credit card, file bankruptcy and not have to pay any of your bills at all.

In the USA, people are very friendly to everyone, and secretly make fun of people when they think nobody is around.
