Joseph Hong Kong and Macao are differents, Hong Kong was from England and Macao from Portugal after both countries give the zone again to China they become autonomous and adopted the system: "one country, two systems". One of the reasons the problems in HK in last days was because in time of British they had more freedom and now want free elections. So yes probably it's the reason Italki it's banned in China like anothers others services: youtube, twitter, etc and not in HK or Macao or Taiwan :)

Yes I also have been using a vpn so I can watch TV channels in other countries - this helped me with learning different languages.

I can recommend:-  www.streamvia.com  - it has very good prices and covers all of Europe.

Of course if you want to watch British TV free you dont need a vpn - you only need to go to www.filmon.com or download the app.  It has all of our live channels.

Vpn means 'Virtual Private Network'. It looks like a sort of network software. If I log in to the vpn, I will get an IP adress in another country, such as USA. Then I can get a full access of the internet in China. But I have to pay for the vpn.
