Waka, waka
I'm listening to the song Waka, Waka by Shakira. I'm just wondering what ' waka' means. I know it's not exactly an English question or a discussion. But I think if I put it here, so more people would see it. I'll appreciate it if you help me with that. :)

Well, you’re right that it’s not an English word. Apparently, some of the lyrics were taken from a song by a Cameroonian music group that is sung in the Fang language. According to wikipedia “waka waka” means something like “Do it!” and “waka” means “walk while working”. I love Shakira - she has great energy! :)
