How often do you call your parents？
Long time not calling my mom.I called her last night. She didn't recognise that it was me during the first several seconds!! I feel really sorry about that. Last call may be a month ago or longer... Maybe I should learn to call her more. Be a better son.

More than one communication per month.
More elder the parents is, more they want to miss children.They have too many spare time.
Maybe you are young and your mom still intervene your idea, don't self-abuse.It would more comfortable and more commnication each other soon after.
