Stress or Intonation?

What is more important in learning a language? Is it the stress or the intonation?

I heavily rely on phonetic symbol and online pronunciation in the dictionary to ensure my sounding is not too wired to recognize hopefully as precise as possibly close to native speakers. 


Stress and intonation are equally important for me to sound out correctly.
