Hi, Im learning English, and now trying to translate the novel 'one day' into Chinese for practicing my English.
I've been looking up all the dictionary I found but still can get the proper meaning here.

I guess it might mean ' take part in' ?

"throwing" as used, means "having" or "hosting" or "giving"

The collocation is "throw a party". See if there's an equivalent expression for that.
