How to say "opportunity" in Japanese?
Hi!
I'm looking for a word in Japanese : "opportunity".
I found these words on "jisho"
契機 (けいき)
機会 (きかい)
時機 (じき)
but as a Beginner I am totally unable to see the difference (if there is any) between all.
So can you explain the difference? Or what would you say?

知っているのが「機会」と「チャンス」だけです。
Both can be used as in "don't miss this opportunity", but chansu obviously came from english and kikai perhaps from chinese.

I looked up in my jisho, too. I usulally do not use 契機.
契機and 時機are almost the same and rarely used.
機会is the best equivalent for "opportunity".
