Hello I need help with this phrase please "Buff off"
Could someone explain what does it mean and kindly give an example along with the meaning

“Buff off” means to polish.
I polish my shoes like this. I rub shoe polish onto my shoes with a small brush, then brush off with a big brush and, finally, buff off with a cloth.
