The real greatness of Jesus is not on his miracle. It was on his attitude, behavior, and practice when he faced up to that societal contradiction. For example, when Jesus met the rich guy who asked Jesus the way to get redemption, Jesus pointed out the truth which veiled at that time. The way I see it, the guy represents the Stoicism, such as Seneca, Aurelius, which was dominant in the Roman era.

In my opinion, the rich man represents the stoicism that was dominant in the Roman era; such as Seneca, Aurelius.
