What is "kubraa" in "bint kubraa"?
Why isn't it " ’akbar " ?

We use for male - أكبر
And for female - كبرى

as i know :
" kubraa " means oldest
like: my oldest sister = أختي الكبرى
" ’akbar " means older
like: my older sister = أختي الاكبر

Because Kubraa is feminine and this means this girl is the oldest and akbar is masculine and so we say ( الولد الأكبر أو الابن الأكبر ) and we say (البنت الكبرى).
