Differences between my grandparents and me There are some differences between my grandparents and me. And I think those differences resulted from different ages we were born. Sometime they show that they are a bit more conservative in both good and bad ways that might cause conflicts or teach me something meaningful. For example, we have different tastes for music. Old Taiwanese songs are always what they love to listen to no matter when they are in car or at home, and sometimes they do not understand why I like to listen to some genres which are Future Garage, Cool Jazz and Acoustic music. There’s also the other difference is that they still keep traditional customs of Taiwanese culture and their religion belief, I don’t know much about those traditions but I think it is really good to keep them in some ways. When it comes to religion belief, I’m more like an atheist, and I assume they will not be so happy that I always try not to let them find out the truth about me in order to avoid unpleasant conflicts. I think the best way avoiding conflicts is to respect each other because each person is individual and maybe we could learn from each other since we are all so special.

Differences between my grandparents and me

There are some differences between my grandparents and me. And I think those differences resulted from different ages lifestyles we were born into. Sometime, they show that they are a bit more conservative than I in both good and bad ways that might cause conflicts or teach me something meaningful.

For example, we have different tastes for in music. They prefer Old Taiwanese songs are always what they love to listen to no matter when they are in car or at home, and sometimes they do not understand why whereas I like to listen to some other genres which are such as Future Garage, Cool Jazz and Acoustic music. There’s also the other difference is that such as them still keeping traditional customs of Taiwanese culture and their religious beliefs. I don’t know much about those traditions, but I think it is really good to keep them in some ways. When it comes to religious beliefs, I’m more like an atheist, and I assume they will not be so happy about that; that I always try not to let them find out the truth about me in order so I try to avoid unpleasant conflicts by not expressing my beliefs to them.

I think the best way to avoiding conflicts is to respect each other because each person is an individual and maybe we could learn from each other since we are all so special.

Good points! This leads to a philosophical belief that every individial is free to express their opinions and intentions. As long as there is no harm, then the individual's thoughts acceptable.

They love old Taiwanese songs. are always what they love to listen to No matter when where they are, in the car or at home, they listen to them constantly. and sometimes They do not understand why I like to listen to some genres which are like Future Garage, Cool Jazz and Acoustic music. There’s also the other Another difference is that they still keep traditional customs of Taiwanese culture and their religion religious belief. I don’t do not know much about those traditions them but I do think that it is really good idea to keep them in some ways. However, when it comes to religion belief, I’m I am more like an atheist and I assume they will not be so happy that I always try not to let when they them find out the truth about me. To avoid in order to avoid unpleasant conflicts, I hide my beliefs from them.

I think the best way in avoiding conflicts is to respect each other because each as every person is individual unique and maybe we could can learn from each other. since We are all so special.

Each generation has its likes and dislikes. I am sure they can speak Japanese well while you are most likely unable. I am also very sure that their grandparents frown on the kind of music they listen to.

If you don't keep your cultural heritage, you'll lose your identity. However,in this current global system, a little flexibility is ok. And remember what Odysseus of Ithaca once said: "Without the gods, humans are nothing". Have some little faith ;-)
