Agree or disagree the food we ate in the past is healthier than the food today. With the considerable advance of civilization and steady increase in living conditions, there have been growing realizations that people attach more significance to the quality of food. The food we ate today, though, has some problems in the quality. There is no denying that the food we ate today is much healthier than the food in past. Therefore, I could not agree with the statement for the following reasons. Above all, it is universally acknowledged that the food we ate today is prepared on several steps. We may first wash the ingredients carefully, and then cook them in the pan. Finally, we add some condiments in the food so the meal will taste delicious. In this way, the bacteria in the food will be killed and we ate such a safe way. On the contrary, think about how the ancestors cook meals. With limited conditions, ancestors usually ate crude food. They just wore the food cluster and roasted them on the fire. It is ridiculous to say that the food we ate in the past is healthier that what we eat today. Another point I want to explain concerned on the nutrition we get from food. With the increasing living conditions, people today concern more about their health than other things. They try their best to have balanced diets. For example, we are supposed to have a large amount of vegetables and fruits but a little meat. Only under such circumstance, can we keep fit and avoid being obese. If we live in the past, however, we might not be able to eat our fill and wear warm clothes, let alone concerning about the nutrition we get. Furthermore, our government put great emphasis on the quality of food. The authorities related have already enacted strict laws and regulations in order to protect the interests of consumers. Under strict process of supervising, the food we eat today is much healthier than the past. In addition, the media such as television and newspaper help us to expose the problem food. For instance, one kind of television show called "315" were hold annually in my country to uncover the poor quality products. It is impossible to use these methods to ensure the quality of food in the past. In conclusion, the food we eat today is more safe and healthy than the past. In some situations, however, the black-hearted produce problem food to confuse the consumers. For example, some chemical materials were put into the food in order to make the food more delicious and fresh. But it is too partially to say that the food we eat in the past was much

Totally disagree with you!!! Everyone knows that today we eat NOT that food which we have eaten before. First of all, today the environment is much worse than before: air, water, rains all influences on ground and it, in turn, affects on fruits. Secondly, for the storage of products we add different preservatives and chemicals which are also bad for our health. In the third, for the pleasure of the eating we use different kinds of additives and spices, which are also artificial. Finally, because of our high-speed life we often replace home fresh food on fast unhealthy food that's why majority of us has problems with stomach. So, let's try eat more natural food and give preference to home food. As for environment, ecologists work to it and don't forget our organism also adapts and "mutates" and our ancestors were stronger and healthier than we today because they had strong immunity and environment was clean..:)))))))))
