1.corpse 시체
-Finding a coprse will be a main issue of the investigation.

Finding the corpse will be the main issue in (during) the invesitigation.

2.conceal 숨기다
-Don't try to conceal the peril of a taking this project. We cann't view the prblem objectively.

Peril is used more in immediate life and death contexts. "The child was in great peril crossing the busy road."
"Dont try to conceal your lies, I know the truth!"

3.dismal 음침한
-I want to take a day off and just stay at home in dismal weather. (tick) [when the weather is dismal]



4.frigid 몹시 추운
-The recent frigid weather will continue till this weekend. (tick)

5.inhabit 살다(=live in)
-My boss offer to inhabit near the company.(x)

inhabit is used more as a collective description. "the frogs inhabit the nearby pond". "The bedouin people inhabit the desert", not really used for singlular.

6. numb 감각이없는
-Sometimes my toes become numb suddenly. (tick) [suddenly become numb]

8.recline (비스듬히)기대다
- I feel very comfortable when I recline on my sofa.

The horror movie portrayed the monster as very sinister.
(sinister is not just bad, it means evil in creepy/scary kind of way)

-My favorite TV show tempts me not to take a yoga class today. (tick)
Ex. I am tempted to call in sick when the weather is so dismal.

12.wager (=bet)
-I wager ten dollars on it if they won't win.

I'll wager ten dollars on them not winning. (you are wagering on the win/loss itself, so that is the subject).


( ^^;; It's so tough. There are so many English words I don't know yet.)
