everyday passage——the 3rd day
translate 少小离家老大回,乡音无改鬓毛衰。 儿童相见不相识,笑问客从何处来。
when i was young, i leave home, and when i was old , i come back. With the sound didn't change, the hair has become already all white. The children who see me can not recognize, and with smile, sthey ask me where i come from.
My version, not official.
I was young to leave my hometown while now return at an old age.
My dialect accent hasn't changed while my hair has been full of grey.
A little child encounters me but we can't tell each other's name.
He smiles to ask, "Reverend sir, could you tell me whence you came?"
I think rhyme is important.
