Hrvatski Cases - Attempt 2
Gledam/vidim velikog lava. I see a big lion.
Gleda/vidi velik lava mene. A big lion sees me.
On gleda/vidi velikog lava. He sees a big lion.
Ti gledaš/vidiš velikog lava. You see a big lion.
Malo dijete gleda/vidi velikog lava. The small child sees the big lion.
Malo dijete gleda/vidi velik lav.(Veliki lav gleda/vidi malog dječaka; boy=dječak) The big lion sees the small boy.
Gladana žena gleda/vidi velikog lava. The hungry woman sees a big lion.
Gladanu ženu gleda velik lav. The big lion sees the hungry woman.
If I understand correctly, the word order doesn't matter if the cases are right. So:
Gladanu ženu gleda velik lav = Gleda gladanu ženu velik lav = Gladanu ženu velik lav gleda = Velik lav gleda gladanu ženu
Well, it doesn't matter but some some sentences sound more "correct" :) It's usually: subject + verb + object or object + verb + subject. Anyway, all "types" you mentioned above are understandable and OK.
One note: gladan (masculine) - gladna (feminine); the second "a" in "gladan" is omitted :)
