The Legend of Trauco One of the most famous legends in the south of Chile is about a little man called Trauco whose height is around 90 cm and walks in the dark forests with a bent cane in Chiloe's archipielago. He loves women more than everything and has the magical power to hypnotise them so that they fall in love of him dispite his ugly look. After a few months the women are pregnants because of Trauco raped them. So when a woman has a baby of a unknown father the people says: "Trauco is the father of that kid".
