The graphs show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and gender Three given graphs indicate the proportion of British who purchasing Pop, Rock and Classical music albums in different genders and ages. The most striking feature is that the patterns of people buy Pop and Rock music albums are generally the same while Classical category witnesses a different trend. As a whole, the amount of male buyers exceeds it of female purchases by 5% or 7% in three sections. To go into details, in Pop music, buyer aged 25-35 come out top with over 25% of the total, followed closely by purchasers aged 16-24 and 35-44 with 25% and 17% respectively. Similar to Rock section, the percentage of those aged 25-34 is the highest at 30% with 35-44 the lowest at approximately 25%. In contrast, both two mentioned sorts of music lose their popularity to Classical Music when it comes to people aged 45 and above, proved by about 20% of them buy Classical music albums which makes Classical music become most universal in middle-aged listener. p/s: please correct it in academic style 'cause I'm in the process of learning Ielts.
