It has been said: Not everything that is learnt is contained in books.
Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion which source is more important? Why?
One of the most important issues in society today is knowledge. There are a number of options that could allow us to gain knowledge. But the notion of “knowledge” is vague, or rather and the word can have multiple-meanings. To differ Different aspects of meaning “knowledge” take can come from different sources of gaining knowledge. For example, there is knowledge gained both from encyclopedias and from fiction books, from the Internet and from life experience. What is the difference between themthose different sources and which is one source is more important than another? We will try to contrast the book’s knowledge and with the knowledge gained from our own experiences. knowledge.
First of all, lets us consider books as a way of gaining knowledge. All in all books might be divided in two groups: information books and fiction books. Information books contain different sorts of information, for example textbooks, encyclopedias, science researches. Reading of these kinds of books enriches our practical actual knowledge and helps us in real life: how to boil water, what food is healthy… Literary works on philosophy can make us sophisticated thinkers. Also we can improve the our logical thinking and as well as just enjoy different interesting facts about life. Fiction books can cause us to feel many lots of feelings and emotions in a our heart that which helps to form the entire personality. It can improve imagination skills and help us to have more compassion to for others, because in the process of reading the world of other people’s ideas and problems, it may becomes familiar to you.
But books do not contain everything. We can not deny that sometimes we are not able to learn something without real experience. Dancing. Or speaking a foreign language. Practice allows one to learn learning how to act in a particular situation in a the real world. Interaction with things, with nature, with people can provoke unexpected and coincidental situations, that could be pleasant or unpleasant, but they form our life experience. And, if we go further, real experience can brings happiness! Everyone likes to listen to an old man who has had a lot of adventures during his life, because without real experience our life would be boring and poor.
What Which of these two sources is more important? We should combine both. Books provide theoretic base and then we should put it into practice (if it is possible) to reach real knowledge. The period of a human’s life is limited and no one has enough time to touch everything he wants to and gain knowledge from it. Generally speaking, books enrich human beings in every way.
