Describe something you could never give away. Something that I never could give away is a small angel made of plaster. This angel is only 10 centimeter, and it's colour is bronze. Actually, this figure is non-valuable for other people. But it's very valuable for me. When I was a child, I saw this angel in a shop window. I wanted to own this angel, but my mother said NO. She said, it would be to expensive. I was very sad. A few weeks later, it was Christmas. As every year, we got some small presents like clothes, books or dolls. That year, there was also another small package under the Christmas tree. I couldn't imagine what it contended. When I opened it, I had tears in my eyes. I got this beautiful angel. This angel has been my companion all over the years until today. Everytime when I see it, my thoughts are with my mother.

Describe something you could never give away.

Something that I could never could give away is a small angel made of plaster.
This angel is only 10 centimeter[centimetres] tall, and it's colour is bronze.
Actually, this figure is not-valuable for other people, but it's very valuable for me.
When I was a child, I saw this angel in a shop window. I wanted to own this angel, but my mother said NO.
She said, it would be too expensive. I was very sad.
A few weeks later, it was Christmas. As Every year, we got some small presents like clothes, books or dolls. [Better: "As in previous years .." or "As usual, .."]
That year, there was also another small package under the Christmas tree. I couldn't imagine what it contended contained.
When I opened it, I had tears in my eyes. I got this beautiful angel. This angel has been my companion all over the years until today[ever since]. Everytime when I see it, my thoughts are with my mother[it reminds me of my mother].

meter = American spelling, metre is English spelling.

".. until today" suggesest that something has changed, like if it was broken or there was another reason for it not to be a reminder anymore.

'when' could be left out: "Everytime I see it .." or just "When I see it .."

Describe something you could never give away.

Something that I never could [ 'could never' ] give away is a small angel made of plaster.
This angel is only 10 centimeters, and it's colour is bronze.
Actually, this figure is non-valuable to other people. But it's very valuable to me.
When I was a child, I saw this angel through a shop's window [ or 'in a shop' ]. I wanted to own this [that] angel, but my mother said "NO".
She said it would be too expensive. I was very sad.
A few weeks later, it was Christmas. As every year [ 'usual' is better ], we [ just 'I' ] got some small presents like clothes, books or dolls.
That year, there was also another small package under the Christmas tree. I couldn't imagine what it contended [ 'contained' this fault is not small ].
When I opened it, I had tears in my eyes. I got this beautiful angel. This angel has been my companion all over the years [ 'every year' if you like to keep the 'until today' ]  until today. Everytime when [ ' ' ] I see it, my thoughts are with my mother.
