the way to learn english Hi,this is my first appearance at this website. I am a college student now. Recently, my friends are considering about the new way to learn English -- going to America college in this summer. Applying the course that open for Taiwan college. It sounds good! But the tuition is to expensive for me, it cost nearly $10,000 (USdollars) a month, is it really necessary to learn how to speak English through this way, or is it worth? I am wondering and so do my friends. Can anybody share some experience about how to practice English speaking, or the experience about joining the course mentioned about? Thanks for reading~

The Way to Learn English

$10,000 per month is extremely expensive!  The tuition at the very best schools are $50,000 to $60,000 a year.

You're right, I think I have to discuss with my friends- what is the main purpose for us to join this course? Maybe the best gift we receive will be the experience we interact with others and the new friends we meet!

It might be a wonderful experience and they might have great teachers but no, it isn't worth it if all that you really want is to improve your English. Learning a language effectively requires that you use good study methods regularly for years. Two months just isn't enough time.
