Ideas for influencing people to be more environmentally friendly Nowadays it is well known that with respect to the environment human beings have a great responsibility. Day by day, from the biggest company to the youngest child in school, everyone have to take part in this task. I will discuss briefly different alternatives to promote a more environmentally friendly behavior in the society. Firstly, the control of the government in this area is essential to achieve the goal. There is a necessity of research and development on several fields where public investment would be very well welcome. Furthermore, the companies which are more environmentally friendly could receive some public welfare to maintain and facilitate their activities. And finally, although in my opinion it is not the best way, through fines and penalties for everyone who damages the environment. Education also has an important role in this subject. Either adults or children there should be implemented different ways to instruct them the best practices to take care of the environment. This is especially important for the kids whose habits will be the ones of the people in the future. For instance, by promoting school trips to recycling factories where children can learn the basics and how the entire process works. In conclusion, it is on our hands to deal and take measures by changing our habits and supporting those in the government who do so. The more we take care of our planet today, the less we will have to regret in the future.
