So, it's very kind of you to help me improve my English.. The following composition is my effort on writing skill. The text in brackets is the task of this essay. Please let me know my mistakes. (These days more fathers stay at home and take care of their children while mothers go out to work. What could be the reasons for this? Do you think it is a positive or a negative development? ) Nowadays, there has been a big switch in role of men and women in a family. It is men’s duty to do housework while women are earning money outside. This is absolutely opposite to the situation in the past when men dominated the employment industry while their wife took care of children. There are many explanations for this peculiar change. However, the disappearance of sex discrimination is the main reason. Time goes by people realize that men and women should share equal roles in home life and society. In Asia, rules which hindered women from developing and having legal status in community are gradually omitted. Thus, women get a chance to have higher-level education and jobs. This is, to some people, a positive development, paving the way for equal and happy society. Be that as it may, many say that this alteration has side-effects more than advantages. No one can deny that men are stronger and more tolerant than women. Jobs, such as physical labor and business which are likely to be very stressful and produce dangerous incidents, are overwhelming for women. On top of that, from my experience, children have stronger sentimental attachment to mother than father. So they will be emotionally deprived if not staying with their mother. This lack may lead to bad consequences in the future such as crime. In summary, although it is a good news that women are earning more money and men become familiar with household chores and looking after children, this also means that women will have more psychosomatic stress and children cannot stay with their mother. It is suggested that women should combine motherhood and career while men help them with upbringing. Thanks for reading
