몰라요 vs 모르겠어요

여러분 저는 차이를 잘 몰라요, 몰라요 는 - present tense, 모르겠어요 - should be future tense? But 모르겠어요 - translated as present tense also, as I know...
<strike>점</strike>좀 <strike>더</strike>도와 주세요^^

They both have the same meaning even if there is "겠" as in "모르겠어요", but "모르겠어요" is more polite than just saying "몰라요".^^
Also both indicate THE SIMPLE PRESENT.
