Dragon Boat Festival

Tomorrow is the Dragon Boat Festival。In China，it is an important festival。

According to Chinese history or legend, a great poet was born about 2300 years ago, and he loved his country/land very much。His name was QuYuan。About 2300 years ago，China was divided into a lot of many independent states, and there was war everywhere then。

When his country was conquered, QuYuan jumped into the river and ended his life。/ Qu Yuan committed suicide by jumping into a river.

The people would like to remember him，so  this day when he jumped into the river was dragon boat festival。

>Until today, people still remember his sacrifice; and to commemorate the day he jumped into a river to kill himself, a festival has been held since then: the Dragon Boat Festival .

明天是端午节，在中国，这是一个重要的节日。
在中国历史（或传说）中，有一个伟大的爱国诗人诞生在2300年之前。他的名字叫做屈原。2300年前的中国被划分为了很多小国家，并且充满了战争。当屈原的国家灭亡的时候，屈原选择跳河结束了自己的生命。
中国人为了纪念他，就把他跳河自杀的日子定为了端午节！
