3.你[需]要会在北京待着三天 。（u need to stay in beijing 3 days) ,
as far as i know, 会means 'can/able to' so in this context, does it means ‘u can stay in beijing 3 days’？ No. What you said means, "I MAY be staying in Bejing for three days"
4. 还是不够理想 。（it's still not very ideal) ,
conversation between 2 ppl about the price of meat, and then followed by A: 还不便宜！，B: 还是不便宜！ , A: 那，还是不够理！想！
does it mean, 'it's not really reasonable/suitable?' It is not suitable in this context. Usually, it would be, "还是不便宜" or 还是太贵
5. 全国都是这样吗？(is it the same for the whole country ?)，
can i say, 全国都这样吗？only in conversation. You need 是 as a proper sentence.
6.作家 = 作者 ？（writer) Yes
7. 你都看过哪些书？
can i use, 你已经看过哪些书？已经 = already

need means 需要，but you can say it this way.
also，会≈will.for example,我会帮你means i will help u.
