finished military and start unemployment

I went into the military service one year ago and finished it last month. In my country, joint in (do you mean "joining?) the military service is forced. I was happy one day after I finished it, but after that I have not been happy, because I have not had a suitable job. I sought a job in the net but I have had a problem. I don't know the English language well and to have more of a chance of job, I need to know it. Please, help me.
