Yesterday, I forgot to go joggings and only when I closed the door, did I remember about the thing I forgot. Because I committed to go joggings every day for at least 3km or I will pay fine, I just thought about discipline and I went out at 10 p.m. I am so grateful I am in a group and it help me improve myself.

Yesterday I forgot to go jogging and only after I closed the door behind me did I realize I had neglected to do something. Because I have committed myself to jog 3km every day or to pay a fine, I just thought about discipline and I went out at 10 p.m. I am so grateful to be in a group that helps me to improve myself.
I do not understand the clause "I just thought about discipline and I went out at 10 p.m." Could you explain what you mean to say?
Your first sentence uses the words "forgot", "remember", and "forgot" again. I reduced the repetition by using different words.

Yesterday, I forgot to go jogging and only when I closed the door did I remember about the things I forgot. Since I committed to run at least 3 km every day or/otherwise I would have to pay a fine, I just thought about discipline and I went out running at 10 p.m. I am so grateful to be in a group and it helps me improve.
