What’s the meaning of “call” in this context?

When big companies are listed on the stock exchange they have to report their results publicly every quarter. Once they have made the results public they then do "calls" with investment bank analysts to go through the details. These days, these "calls" are a combination of online presentations plus one-to-one calls and meetings with investment analysts.

I think it in this case it means "recommendations." More context would help, but I think this is a set of recommendations (maybe for companies to invest in?) by industry analysis.
