Yep, it happens occasionally. It always feels a bit adventurous, however I prepare well before traveling to minimize random things happening. I know how to use navigation apps and maps, so I've never found myself lost in unfamiliar places. Another thing that helps me a lot is pretty accurate sense of time. Very often I can predict how much time does it take to get to somewhere down to few minutes, even for long distance trips. Of course, for time critical events I prefer to have extra 30-60 minutes :)
