Hey everyone! I have a question. I’m only 13 and ofc I’m always going to school and have after school activities and sports. I love languages and want to find more time for Japanese, Korean, and ASL. I’m trying not to overwhelm myself with how much work it is and I can’t find much motivation to complete the assignments my teachers give me here on Italki. Any advice to at least get some motivation to start learning again?? Thank you!!

It can help to focus strongly on one of the languages you are studying, maybe on the one you like the most, and treat the others as if they are just for fun. But this might not help if you are getting grades for all of this and you want straight A's! The best state of mind for learning is to be relaxed and attentive. Do the things that keep you in that mood.

Are the assignment boring? I've studied French for 4 years and wound of quit long ago if I had been studying grammar. I do what I find interesting. You won't continue if you're not motivated, and doing what is interesting is motivating.
