To put things into recycling bins. To use less electricity, such as use fan rather than air conditioner. To use both sides of a paper.
I always do the above things everyday. This is a small power that help a little bit protecting the environment. However, it is a large power if every one will do these things altogether. And the most important thing is that we should change some cultures in office and disposal of waste.
In HK, many rubbishes always are on streets, not in rubbish bins, no matter put them into recycling bins. Besides, the culture of office is not environmental-friendly. Even though people will use both sides of papers, it is still not enough and it is a kind of waste. Many people will print a document many times because they discover some mistakes in the document and just correct it. Those mistakes might be just the size of word not same or the form is not right. Do you think it is really important to print the document again? Many workers will do it because they are so afraid of blames from their boss or supervisor. This action kills our environment.
All in all, our environment will be improved if we can change some cultures and personal behaviour. The power of individual is very small. But the power of a group of people is unlimited.

To put recycable garbage into recycling bins. To use less electricity, such as use a fan
rather than an air conditioner. To use both sides of a paper. I always do the abovementioned items everyday. This is a small power that helps a little bit protect the
environment. However, it is a large power if every one will do these things
altogether. And the most important approach is that we should change some cultures
in office and disposal of waste. In HK, rubbish always is dropped on streets,
not in rubbish bins, no matter put them into recycling bins. Besides, the
culture of office is not environmental-friendly. Even though people will use
both sides of papers, it is still not enough and it is a kind of waste. Many
people will print out a document many times because they made some mistakes in
the document to correct it. Those mistakes might be just word spellings. Do you think it is really important to print
the document out again? Many workers will do it because they are so afraid of blames
from their boss or supervisor. This action spoil our environment. All in all,
our environment would be improved if we can change some cultures and personal
behaviour. The power of an individual is very small, But the power of a presure group
is more influential.

I put things into recycling bins. I use less electricity, such as using the fan rather than air conditioning. I use both sides of paper.
I always do the things above. It is a small effort that helps a little bit in protecting the environment. However, it will be a large effort if everyone does these things altogether. And the most important thing is that we should change some office culture, especially in disposal of waste.
In HK, a lot of rubbish is always on streets, not in rubbish bins. Besides, the culture of offices is not environmentally-friendly. Even though people will use both sides of paper, it is still not enough and it is a kind of waste. Many people will print a document many times because they discover some mistakes in the document and reprint to correct it. Those mistakes might just be irregular sizes of word or the forms which are not right. Do you think it is really essential to print the document again? Many workers will do it because they are afraid of blame from their boss or supervisor. These actions kills our environment.
All in all, our environment will be improved if we change some cultures and personal behaviour. The power of an individual is very small. But the power of a group of people is unlimited.
I really agree with the last two sentences - I think it's really important to remember them!
