The bar chart demonstrates the amount of production and consumption of electricity in top 10 countries in 2014.
Overall, the graph showed decreasing trends through 10 countries in both production and consumption of electricity, from China to Korea, Rep.
China ranked the first in the list (produced 5398 billion kWh electricity and used 5322 billion kWh electricity), which was followed by US, with 4099 billion kWh production and consumption of 3866 billion kWh. The figures for production and consumption were very close in Russia, with only 19 billion kWh difference. Japan showed smaller numbers for both production and consumption, with 936.2 billion kWh electricity being produced and 856.7 being consumed. India showed a similar pattern(871 billion kWh electricity produced and 698.8 billion kWh being consumed). The sixth country was Canada, as it produced 618.9 billion kWh electricity and leave 119 billion kWh left). The other three countries which were Brazil, Germany and Korea, Rep. had similar figures in the range of 561.2 billion kWh to 449.5 billion kWh.
To sum up, China and US produced and used more electricity than other countries, while Korea, Rep. used smallest amount of electricity compared to the others.
