I'm currently learning Egyptian Arabic and I have a question about the differnece between those sentences
أنا مَبسوط لَك أوي
أنا مَبسوط عَشانـَك أوي
and
أنا مَبسوط بالِخَبَر دا
أنا مَبسوط مِن الخَبَر دا
Why there's two meanings for almost the same translation in English for each one
What's the subtle difference here ?

في الحقيقة مفيش فرق بين الجملتين في المعنى، اللغة العربية مختلفة شويا عن الانجليزية لأننا بنستخدم أكثر من كلمة بتؤدي لنفس المعنى فالأفضل عدم استخدام الترجمة الحرفي، ببساطة لأن العربية لغة ثرية جدا

honestly they almost have the same meaning
لَك for you
عَشانك for you
it's only that Arabic is a rich language so you can find many synonyms for the same word

Good question! In Egyptian Arabic, the difference is very subtle:
• “أنا مبسوط لك أوي” = I’m happy for you (focused on you as a person)
• “أنا مبسوط عشانك أوي” = I’m happy because of what happened to you
In daily speech, people use them almost the same.
And for the second pair:
• “أنا مبسوط بالخبر دا” is the most natural
• “أنا مبسوط من الخبر دا” is less common
But All of that work and if you say any of them there is no problem at all, Egyptian Arabic is very flexible — you might hear:
“مبسوط منك / مبسوط بيك / مبسوط لك / مبسوط عشانك”
and all of them can work depending on context 👍
