I always thought "Neck" is the back part of the thing between Head and Torso and "Throat" is the front part of it, but I just translated the terms and now I am a bit confused as "Neck" seemed to be able to refer to both parts. Is there a term to refer to both the back part and the front part?

Ti make a distinction you can say "throat" to refer to the front part of the neck and "back of the neck" or "nape of the neck" to refer to the back part.
