Hello
This is my writing about “control freak”. I just make up this story and please don’t judge me.
Could you make my writing sound like more natural?
Thank you for your time and help/
I hate to admit I was a control freak mom last a couple years.
When my daughter started her middle school, I wanted her to make good friends and study hard. But she started making friends at school and got interested in other things like wearing makeup rather than studies, so I started worrying about what if she didn’t study and just hung out with friends and I became a control freak mom. I wanted to know what she did after school and whom she hung out with. During the mid-term or final-term, I always wanted to know what she studied and how hard she studied. If she didn’t get good grades, rather than understand or ask her about the results, I just pointed out her mistakes and scolded that. We had lots of arguments and got into verbal fights. Sometimes I got emotional and said some things without really thinking about how she would feel. I was a really bad mom but now I don’t do that. I don’t impose my way of thinking on her. I let her to be herself and just try not to involve her and just try to guide her in right direction.
