The Tim じぁん!!!
It was drizzling a bit today. The news warned that the local air quality was dangerously poor due to a sandstorm up north. I’d assumed it was just cloudy, but turns out it was all dust. Mom wouldn’t let any of us go out, so I ended up glued to my phone the entire day. Mom always says my phone is my worst enemy, but the Bible says to “love your enemies,” and I’m nothing if not devout.
On a darker note, something weird happened. The day before yesterday, one of my uncle’s employees suddenly died of a heart attack right at work—collapsed in my uncle’s arms, apparently. The incident has really messed with my uncle’s mental state; he’s been struggling with severe anxiety and trauma ever since. Seriously, what is going on lately?

That’s a great excuse for using your phone. As to your latter point, who knows!
