Hi, someone told me that “apart from” and “aside from” are the same thing!!!! But before putting this Concept in my head. I would like to make sure and ask, do they have a slight difference in meaning or are they the exact exact same thing? Thank u a lot!!!’

Yeah I knew we had formal and informal. They both sound formal to me, especially apart from that.
I'd use except for instead
