Hi I have a question, trousers pants or slacks is there a difference? Thanks in advance for reading and responding

The answer is partly regional usage
In the UK, pants actually means underwear. So don't tell a British person, "your pants look great", or they'll get embarrassed ;)

Trousers = British usage
Pants = American
Slacks are for formal occasions
