If time travel is possible I’d like to go back to my adolescence when I was so rebellious and always talk retort to my late mom. Nowadays I am in a role of a mom and my son is in adolescence. He always retorts and do the things against me. So I can understand my late mother’s feeling personally. How bad I performed at that time . But I won’t have chance to make up for it anymore as she has dead for five years lol

If time travel is possible I’d like to go back to my youth/teens when I was so
rebellious and I would always talk back to my late mom. Nowadays, I am a
mom and my son is a teenager (adolescent isn’t used like this in a sentence) He always retorts (or talks back) and does things against
me. So I can understand my late mother’s feeling personally. How badly I performed
at that time. But I won’t have chance to make up for it anymore as she has been dead
for five years lol
Retorts - this is technically correct, but in conversation we would say “talk back” which means the same thing
Adolescent - this is more of the formal word, we would say “when I was a teenager or when I was in my teens or when I was young or in my youth” all mean the same thing but is more conversational
