It is definitely Albus Dumbledore's death in Harry Potter that upset me by far the most. His death was super shocking to me. I was still 10 years old back then.
That's because he had been one of my most favorite characters throughout the whole series until his death came out to me. He was not only a strong and experienced magician in the world but also a existence like a father for Harry. I never expected he would die or even get killed by someone else but at the same time, strange to say, I had a bad feeling about his future.
Unfortunately I got to know of this unintentionally when a friend of mine at school put it into my ears, instead of reading the book by myself.
The first time I heard that he would die in the next 6th in series, it made me just stunned and overwhelmed so that I could't put into words how to react it. Fifteen years since then now I still remember that I was lost for words at the time and felt shaken up as if being frozen to the spot.
Even though his death contributed to the character development of Harry later on, I believe Dumbledore will stay the character forever in my later life who astonish me most.
Correct my writing above someone please.
Thank you in advance.
